Guidelines for ordering Translations services.
How do you charge?
For translations, our rates are based on the word count. If your document also requires desktop publishing, these charges are based on the number of hours it takes to complete. To obtain an accurate rate, we will need to view the material or the document which can be emailed to us or dropped of at office.
How long does it take to complete a translation?
This varies with the language, the length and difficulty of the text, and the availability of particular translators. In general, Translating all types or certificate and standard 1 page documents can be delivered within 24 hour if needed, however it takes about 5 to 7 working days to translate documents up to 3,000 words (about 10 - 15 pages) into any of the major commercial languages. Longer documents regularly take more time to translate. If your work requires editing or desktop publishing, that work will take extra time. If your need is more urgent, however, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule with a quicker turnaround time frame.
What are some of the languages you work in?
We provide language translating and interpretations for over 120 languages, with our database carefully screened accredited translators and interpreters, we can help with almost any language — if we don't already have a translator or interpreter who can do it, we have wide range of sources to identify a qualified translator or interpreter who can.
What about confidentiality? How can I be sure that the contents of my documents will not be disclosed to anyone else?
All our translator and interpreters sign a confidential disclosure agreement before they are assigned any work. They understand that any document handled by our company is subject to this non-disclosure agreement and that they must sustain the confidentiality of all work received through us. We have been trusted with confidential material on a daily basis, and there has never been an incident of misuse.
My solicitor requested a NAATI certified translation of my documents. What is this and how can I get it?
Solicitors often ask that translations for court submission or personal documents such as diplomas, university transcripts, or birth and marriage certificates to be certified by NAATI. Speak your language ensures that all its interpreters and translators have gained the right level of accreditation before commenting to any assignment.
